Swimming Pool Safety
One of our main aims is to encourage every pool owner to be responsible and safety conscious about their pool area.
A report here in Spain showed around 1500 pool related accidents each year with approximately 30% resulting in fatality. The majority of these where children under the age of 5yrs, can swim, and the accident happened within 5 minutes of the childe being left unattended.
We have worked very closely with the alarm manufacture to bring you one of the most user friendly, effective and affordable pool alarms to date.
We have slashed the price as low as feasible possible so no one could have the excuse not to buy one.
The equivalent American counterpart, ‘Pool Protector’ retails in the US for approx €350.00. Whereas, the cost of our pool alarm is only €195.00 - a small price to pay for peace of mind and for a device that could saves lives.
Why Do I Need A Pool Alarm?"
A lot of people don't believe they need a pool alarm;
We often hear comments like:
"We don't have any children!"
"Our children can swim!"
"We would never leave our children unattended near the pool!"
The first thing to understand is children have almost no fear and no concept of death. They are naturally inquisitive and adventurous.
It only take a matter of seconds for an adult to fall asleep in front of the TV and a child could be in the garden playing with a ball or on their bicycle!
Too close to the pool and SPLASH!!! Even if the child knows how to swim the disorientation, a bang on the head or their clothing can prevent from surfacing. "You need to realize that people who are drowning can't yell for help. Someone who got a cramp in their leg might be able to call out for help, but someone actually drowning can't yell or even talk." Will you here the splash over the TV?
Can all your neighbours' children swim? What if a ball comes over your wall and lands in the pool? Do you think the child will knock on your door and ask for help? Or get a stick and try to fish it out by himself? Or maybe the family pet follows the ball into the pool? Yes they can swim put can they get out of the pool?
Quite simply an unattended swimming pool is a dangerous place! Get an alarm today!! it could save a life a lot of misery and your insurance premium.
How it works
Once the alarm is installed into a swimming pool it cannot be accidentally turned off. Your special key is required to deactivate the system.
New sensing technology will detect an intrusion in the pool (of over 4kg) and raise the alarm within 6 seconds (Based on an 8m x 4m Pool).
The 100dB alarm will sound both inside through a wireless receiver and at the pool side from the alarm box.
It will not false alarm if balls or similar objects fall into the pool or with gusts of wind.
The sleep mode allows you to swim without the cause of false alarm.
LED display lights which show the current status of the alarm.
Automatic re–arm when the pool is not being used – after the water is still for 100 seconds, so no need to ‘remember’ to reset the alarm after a swim.
Easy installation, and works with existing pool covers.
